BERG Spanntechnik SSKE Grippers for Steep Taper Tools
This SSK standard taper gripper is original from German BERG Spanntechnik. SSKE P30 T-I, a kind of standard SK grippers. It is a cnc clamping system tool clamping for auto tool changer CNC machine centers.
Based on the popular SSK design, BERG Spanntechnik SSKE grippers use a common spindle contour for all retention knob standards, greatly simplifying design and production requirements for spindle manufacturers. SSKES grippers are dimensionally the same as the SSKE series, except are designed with additional features for high-speed operation.
SSKE grippers are primarily designed for drawing in and ejecting steep taper tools provided with pull studs internationally standardized as per DIN, ANSI, MAS, JIS and ISO which allow fast automatic tool changes.
